Rate another FFL team

Jake Plummer (QB DEN)
Kurt Warner (QB ARI)

Julius Jones (RB DAL)
Deuce McAllister (RB NO)
Mike Anderson (RB DEN)

Joe Horn (WR NO)
Nate Burleson (WR MIN)
Ashley Lelie (WR DEN)
Jimmy Smith (WR JAC)

Tony Gonzalez (TE KC)
Doug Jolley (TE NYJ)

DST Giants (DST NYG)
DST Bengals (DST CIN)

John Carney (K NO)

QB, the turnover kings, good luck. The #s overall may be ok, but these 2 together are eh...

RB, I like it for now, but if Shanahan pulls his usual tricks, you're screwed for BYEs and injury depth.

WRs are a very nice group, as are the TEs.

Carney is good, I do not like your defenses personally, but the Giants usually turn out to be better than average. When will Marvin Lewis turn that D around anyway?

Overall, C+, you really need to CYA that RB group badly. If you stay healthy, you'll have a very competitive team, but JJ and Deuce don't give much confidence in that area.

Your turn to pick apart mine, whatcha think?

QB - Hasselbeck, Delhomme
RB - D.Davis, Westbrook, Jordan, Foster, W.Green
WR - Horn, Coles, Chambers, Kennison, Heap(TE=WR in our league)
K - Lindell
D - Tampa, KC

Yea I need to trade Anderson Or Jones, they both have a bye same week. Droughns, Reuben is available, or I might try a trade for some one.

QB, Like Hasselbeck, but Jake I'm not sure about
RB, solid group
WR, Coles I think is a great #2, as is Kennison. Horn :thumb:
D, I'm not sold on either of those.

B- could be a really good team, or average at worst.

I don't see Droughns worthy of dropping a single player on your roster, barring injury in the next week or two.

Maybe find a Denver homer and parlay Lelie/Anderson into a different RB/WR duo to solve that BYE conflict, and avoid the Denver RBBC all together.

Delhomme was $ at the end of last year, and as a backup, I'm cool with him. I love my RB/WRs, some ?s, like DD and injuries, Westbrook's # of touches, Carolina/Cleveland RBBC, and the pathetic Miami QB situation, but as a whole I'm satisfied. Agree on the Defense, a big run started right after I took Delhomme, and 15 picks later, the cupboard was bare. I'm not entirely sold on Hass either, so I wanted a top backup option to hedge myself, and it cost me a good D. Thanks for the input!

QBs could be better, but they're not bad for fantasy... I'm not sold on Warner, but he could do well.

I like your RBs... don't trade Julius. You can figure out the bye week issue, you have time. I also like your WRs a lot... Hmmm, Broncos at QB, RB and WR... what team do you hate?

TEs are good and your defenses should be fine. I like Carney at kicker.

Overall - not a bad team, I'd like to upgrade your QB and RB depth.

JOhn, 3 words for ya.

Willie Parker, Pittsburgh

Great QB duo - I am a huge fan of Delhomme. He was greatness last season and I think he can repeat it this year. Nice job.

RBs - very very solid dude. You have 3 top starters and then Foster is the wildcard. He's your #4 and could easily put up #2 starter numbers.

WRs - I really like Horn and would be more comfortable with your other options as #3 receivers, not #2. However, you should be all right here.

K / Defs are nice.

Top notch team, I'd try to strengthen the WRs ... although Coles could really surprise with Pennington. So, don't do anything too rash.

We were only allowed to draft 3 RB and start 2, which is kinda BS. I might try and trade Anderson for another RB or package him with a WR, but sure. Had I known that we only got 3 RB's I would have taken Larry Johnson. I had the last pick, so my picks were back to back, and tried to pick LJ next but it wouldn't let me.

I picked players of Value, and stole sveral players, including Anderson, Lelie and J. Smith.

YOu think he will play long? How long is Bettis and Staley gone for?
And which D should I drop for him?

Dr. Johnny Fever 08-29-2005 09:56 AM

Questionable at QB... but either/both could work out... solid elsewhere.

JOhn 08-29-2005 10:00 AM

I got a guy who is offering Carnell Williams for Mike Anderson, he also has a Bye conflict.
