Grbac selected AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Chiefs quarterback Elvis Grbac was selected AFC Offensive Player of the Week for his five-touchdown performance in Sunday's 42-10 victory over San Diego.

Grbac completed 20 of 33 passes for 235 yards in the victory, helping the Chiefs overcome a 10-0 deficit. Grbac threw one interception that was returned for a touchdown.

The five touchdown passes were the most by a Chiefs quarterback since Len Dawson threw five against Miami in 1967 and were one shy of the club record.
