No gurantee on EW this week but it sounds like it.

That's good news.

They're just trying to keep the Dolphins guessing. And Vegas, too.

if he wasn't ready last week, i don't see how he can be ready this week

if only 2 practices make that much of a difference then they didn't try hard enough to get him ready last week.

“Just want to see how he’s doing. I could guarantee that he’s going to be but then I’d be wrong if he’s not. But I’m planning on him being ready to be on that 46. I want to make sure I feel good about it by the end of the week.”

“I told him that last week. I told him we didn’t get him enough reps and enough exposure. As it turned out, Dewayne Washington gets one-on-one on Santana Moss and they go after him and he covers him. That could have been Eric Warfield and he may not have been ready. So we can go back and justify our decision, not because he didn’t physically try to get ready but because he hadn’t played. It’s a lot different than if you’re up there in a defensive line position.”

Sounds like he is leaning toward being ready, good news. Maybe he can at least get into some +DB situations this week.

Two or three yards behind him, and having another defender come in and tip the ball away on a perfect pass that would have been the tying touchdown is covering him?? Lay off the Koolaid Vermeil. :cuss:

Wouldn't give Warfield a ton of reps against the Fins be a good idea? They don't really have the passing personnel to light us up & are the easiest Pass O we've seen yet by miles.

Let him take his "lumps" and give Gun the chance to toss a few man coverages out there. Our Run D is decent and I don't think McCleon or Washington are going to improve our RB tackling over EW

Actually, other than getting beaten on that last play, I thought Washinton played pretty well. Certainly much better than McCleon.

Well, at least we used our bye week constructively.

I can't disagree with you, but had Knight not been there to tip that ball away at the end would anyone remember that he played a decent game? He'd be remembered for giving up the tying touchdown in the last minutes.
