Chiefs MVP at the 3/8ths point of the season.
Who's the MVP so far?
Poll to follow. Peeck Five, Senor. |
thats a tough one. I dont think anyone is really standing out. maybe jared allen. or dare I say Lawernec Tynes
|
Im gonna go with Roaf.
|
I agree with mac58. No one has really stood as the guy carrying the load, other than maybe Allen.
I went with (in order): 1. Jared Allen (it's weird to have a good defensive player) 2. Priest Holmes (handling the Johnson situation with class, and a big performer as usual) 3. Casey Wiegman (only lineman who hasn't been on the injury report this year) 4. Lawrence Tynes (suddenly a very solid kicker, amon the best stats in the league) 5. Kawika Mitchell (I NEVER thought I'd say this, and maybe he gets my vote just because of improvememt, but the guy is playing well this season and edges out DJ at the moment for the #5 spot). Edit: Maybe I kind of screwed over Eddie Kennison. Without him, we'd be hosed at WR. |
I went with Sammy.
|
You have to think scoreboard.
Priest Trent Tynes Allen Knight - Washington TD, Save in Oakland. Roaf is valueable 2.25 games. |
How can you not go with Green? He's not putting up gawdy numbers like in past years, but he's still the unquestioned man on the offense.
|
Goes nowhere without Roaf.
|
Jared Allen: The stats can't lie here, and hes playing his ass off.
Sammy Knight: He's impacting the D in more ways than just stats. Roaf: We've seen what happens when he's gone. Priest and Green: Either one of these guys being gone would really really hurt. That's the definition of valuable. |
Yesterday it was Eli Manning.
|
Roaf obviously. He was the excuse for our sucky offense when he was out.
|
mvp
Where is larry johnson on this list?
|
i went with allen priest and dj...id put roaf but hes missed 3 1/2 games
|
I went with Knight. It was either him or Allen. Allen has produced a great deal this season, but so has Knight. Knight ended two games this season with passes defensed/deflections. He also had the return for a TD against Washington.
Furthermore, he is the real leader of the defense. Knight taking control of the defense should allow Gunther to go back upstairs where he can have better perspective and make better adjustments. |
Dexter McCleon, obviously.
