Broncos step into history book...
Today we witnessed the first time in the history of the NFL that a team had a 300+ yard passer and two 100+ yard rushers.
|
A great day....indeed one for the books.
|
A day hasn't been this great since Sharpe got the record for TE yards in a game...I can't remember who we played.

* KCs 398 first downs were the most in NFL history, breaking the NFL record of 387 set by the 84 Dolphins. * KCs 63 rushing TDs in 2003-04 tied as the best two-year total in NFL history, matching the NFL record originally set by the 61-62 Packers. * The 2004 Chiefs were the first team in NFL history to: * Produce eight rushing TDs in a single game, getting four apiece from RB Priest Holmes and RB Derrick Blaylock in a 56-10 win vs. Atlanta (10/24). * Score 56 points in a game without a TD pass, doing it in a 56-10 win vs. Atlanta (10/24). * Have three different players record a 150-yard rushing game in a single season. RB Priest Holmes 151 at Denver (9/12), RB Derrick Blaylock 186 at New Orleans (11/14) and RB Larry Johnson 151 vs. Denver (12/19). |
