Broncos step into history book...

Today we witnessed the first time in the history of the NFL that a team had a 300+ yard passer and two 100+ yard rushers.

A great day....indeed one for the books.

A day hasn't been this great since Sharpe got the record for TE yards in a game...I can't remember who we played.

I thought the greatness was Champ Bailey getting benched with 3rd degree burns.

You guys won't ever beat our 8 rushing TD's in a game though.

Congrats -- you win the random useless statistic award for the week.

Alas, but neither were nearly as great as the day when Dante Hall set the kickoff return TD record in amazing fashion... I can't remember who we played that day.

Well, at least the Raiders won't win the AFC West this season, so I take some small solace in that. Denver is looking way too tough and focused now and I will be very surprised if at least one playoff game does not get played in Denver. Ugh. Now my small solace has been squished.

Eat shit Donkeys: ROFL

* KC’s 398 first downs were the most in NFL history, breaking the NFL record of 387 set by the ‘84 Dolphins.
* KC’s 63 rushing TDs in 2003-04 tied as the best two-year total in NFL history, matching the NFL record originally set by the ‘61-62 Packers.
* The 2004 Chiefs were the first team in NFL history to:
* Produce eight rushing TDs in a single game, getting four apiece from RB Priest Holmes and RB Derrick Blaylock in a 56-10 win vs. Atlanta (10/24).
* Score 56 points in a game without a TD pass, doing it in a 56-10 win vs. Atlanta (10/24).
* Have three different players record a 150-yard rushing game in a single season. RB Priest Holmes – 151 at Denver (9/12), RB Derrick Blaylock – 186 at New Orleans (11/14) and RB Larry Johnson – 151 vs. Denver (12/19).
