HOw bout Ryan Simms
I saw him in the backfield on numerous run plays. NOt bad for 11 weeks rust. He had a solid day overall, and I look forward to see what he can give in the coming big games.

Yep - looked impressive in that very limited role.
Hopefully he gets healthy and comes along as a decent starter. |
He was pretty solid today, considering how long he's been out.
He will be important in the final stretch. |
Isnt his contract up after this year? If so, I imagine if he can crawl onto the field, he will play well.
|
Glad he played; loved what I saw. He looked really excited on the sidelines too. Love that kinda passion.

We need to have a class to learn proper spelling on Ryan's name. |

Man he was impressive, I want to know how he feels after coming back.

I am really glad he is back and that we won.
He is going to give us a big boost. |

The ways he was being used out there today were interesting. He was used at least a couple of times at RDE which I didn't expect. At least a few other times he was playing NT where Dalton normally lines up to the right instead of the 3-technique position which is over the guard's outside shoulder. He made plays from every position. A few times he was playing NT and Jr. was playing 3 technique which is again interesting. All in all he looked really good out there. I know he kept his weight down but it does look like he put on some bodyfat in place of muscle. I would hope to see him back in the starting lineup within a couple of games.
