Hard to believe that the curse ended with a Carl Peterson draft pick. Do you think the curse, is the reason Larry Johnson fell so far in the first round? Was it because NFL personel thought he was a problem player, Or is it that NFL scouts totally dropped the ball on this pick? How is it that a player of this talent falls so far in the first round?

Nah, nothing to do with a curse, it was because he had only one good college season.

He was the second back taken. It's not like he fell because there were a lot picked ahead of him--just nobody needed a running back.

I don't believe in curses. Curtis Enis and Ki-Jana Carter had nothing to do with LJ's success. You can't judge a player by some other guys he's never even met.

Penn State has had it's share of great running backs in the pros including Lydell Mitchell, hall of famer Franco Harris, and Curt Warner.
