Capers expected to be the Dolphins Defensive coordinator
Dolphins | Capers expected to be named defensive coordinator
Mon, 23 Jan 2006 11:11:49 -0800 Updating previous reports, ESPN's Chris Mortensen reports the Miami Dolphins are expected to name Dom Capers as their new defensive coordinator. Capers is the former head coach of the Houston Texans. *A lot are talking about how the Skins assembled a good coaching staff, well, how about the Dolphins? Mike Mularkey-OC Dom Capers-DC Not bad Nick! Not bad |
I think Nick is very smart, and understands the importance of a good coaching staff.
I guarantee Capers defense will be better in it's first season than Gunther's will be in it's third.
Yeah, the Dolphins may be dangerous if they ever get a QB.
I'm not to sure they need a top QB. They seem to be able to put up good numbers with whoever was playing.
Yeah, I'm thrilled. Capers ain't much as a HC, but he's a proven commodity as a DC. Just terrific. He's also a 3-4 guy. Saban is assembling a pretty good staff down there. Just frigging great...

They'll draft their QB, Jay Cutler, in the first round this year.
Is Mularkey as good as Linehan? Minnesota collapsed when they lost Linehan, and Miami was a lot better under him.
