NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!
 

What an amazing day/night/morning!!! It still hasn't sunk in yet and doesn't seem real. I was in Clemson this weekend and watched the Saturday night game at a bar on the campus. A group of about 8 of us walked in and saw that our Gators women's Lacrosse team was there so we took over the bar for the entirety of the game.

Tonight I went with a group to the O'Connell Center to watch the game with my closest 5,000 friends. What a rush!!! After the game it was time to pour out onto University Avenue and CELEBRATE!!

I can't believe we are National Champs and that it happened while I was here. Kick-ass.

For those of you who watched, I was in that mass of orange jumping all around when they showed a live shot of the O'Dome in GVille.

Congrats. Florida is one of the few SEC schools I don't look upon with disdain and hatred.

People

mob of people. They closed University Ave for about 6 blocks or so and it was just jam-packed with people celebrating.

Some people near/on the street lights. Earlier some guy was standing on top of a street light waving a flag. Then some were hanging from lightposts. Firecrackers were being shot and much alcohol being consumed :-)

I was definitely for Florida over UCLA. I think there'd me more to celebrate if UCLA would have actually put up a fight. Congrats. Looks like you had a blast! :toast:

Yes, I guess some of the "not sinking in" feeling was because it wasn't much of a game. Still enjoyed the hell out of it!!!!
