Would you trade the 5th round pick for...
Donte Stallworth? He's a former #1 with good speed but has been inconsistant catching the ball. If he's got any Roaf karma, it could be worth a shot.
|
Problem is he's got the dropsy's.
But for a 5th? Yep... |
Yeah I think it would probably be worth it. He has some bad hands at times but is still young and shows some flashes. Would give some competition for Parker for the #2 spot and at worst a nice slot WR.
|
N.O. wants him for a 5th... Consider it depending on
what's left/ needs. |
As long as his existing contract is for more than a year and isn't outrageous - sure.
|
If we had a fourth sure, but not having a pick in two straight rounds is passing on a hell of a lot of players.
|
That would be a steal. I'm surprised that N.O. would want to do this.
Of course, I wanted us to draft Stallworth*, so maybe I should stay out of this. *Note: I think we drafted Sims instead, so technically my choice still would have been better. |
Haven't Stallworth's hamstrings been injured for about 75% of his NFL career?
Worth a 5th rounder? Yes. Pretty much anyone that has already shown the ability to start in the NFL is worth a 5th round pick IMO. |
Stallworth fits our offense, so yea it would be worth it.

I would have traded KC's 3rd round pick for Stallworth. I've liked Stallworth for a long time. He fits our offense perfectly, and was impressive in NO last season.
|
I wouldn't give a 5th for him but I'd give up our second next year and every year that Carl is still here.
|
Stallworth, for a fifth?! **** yes.
Why on earth are they trying to deal him? |
Is he really being shopped for just a 5th or is this just a hypothetical hope type of question?
I would definitely give a 5th for him. I would trade our 4th round pick(Edwards) this year along with our 5th for him. |
We should trade next year's second for Stallworth and NO's 3rd next year.
