...Calling Simplex3...or anyone who can help.

I d/l DVDLive, burned it to DVD and rebooted. When my machine restarted it booted into some form of DOS with an "A:\>" any ideas on what went wrong?

Do you have a floppy in your floppy drive?

Did you set up your machine to bood to DVD?

One thing springs to mind. You downloaded an ISO image of a cd, you can't just burn that file to a CD. Sounds like you burned the file to a data cd and made it DOS bootable. What you need to do is actually burn the ISO to cd. "Create CD from Image" I think is what Roxio and some of the others call it.

If you pop that CD in under Windows and look at the drive, do you see the .iso file on it?

Hold on a min. and I'll let ya see what it looks like when I pop it in the drive.

you need to open the file with Nero and then Burn instand of opening Nero and adding the file
