Hard Disk Drive Repair / Recovery Applications anyone?
anyone know of some good Hard Drive Repair tools?
Thanks |
Depends. Are you talking deleted files, corrupted files, or a drive that's physically having problems (knocking, grinding, etc.)?
If a standard "chkdsk /r" from the recovery console doesn't help, usually manufacturer's utilities (i.e. Maxtor's MaxBlast) are about the only other options that I've ever found will help. |

You should be able to check online if you have the serial number. I never call anyone on the phone unless I have to. But if you're a big fan of listening to elevator music for a few hours, go right ahead!
