Fantasy question

12 person league...

I own Barber & Magahee as my backs with crap on the bench (Kevin Jones)...

Guy is offering me E. James and Jamal Lewis for Barber

Whatchathink???

take it

Hydrae 08-18-2006 01:48 PM

I concur, take it. Heck, a lot of people are thinking K Jones is going to blow up this year with Martz running that offense.

Mrs. Doubtfire says Jones is the next Faulk

My opinion (gonna get flamed for this): Leave it.

Kevin Jones has been picked to have a bounce-back year this year by a lot of the "experts". While I'm not sure I buy into all that, I think he is at least a serviceable backup.

Jamal Lewis will never be dominant again, IMO and I think Edge is going to be a disappointment this year.

I think you lose more giving up Barber than you gain by getting Edge and Lewis. I could see this trade if you truly had "nothing" as a backup, but I think Jones will suffice.

unless tiki barber plays the chiefs 16 times a season you pull the trigger

Make the trade, and I'd turn around and trade J. Lewis for a younger stud (Cadillac, Bush, Stephen Jackson, etc..)

I wouldn't write him off just yet,as long as McNair can stay healthy defenses will have to account for Mason and Heap moreso than they ever did with Boller.
