He was Trent Greened

In a bar Saturday watching football. There was a monster hit on a player. The guy at the next table says "He almost Trent Greened him!" I told him to shut his yap. What do you think? Throw down over the honor of your quarterback?

I guess it depends on how much you like to fight. Personally, I'm not sure it's worth it.

Scaga 09-18-2006 07:10 AM

Not worth a fight, but you might hock a luggie in his beer when he takes off for the pisser.

Not a fighter myself. I just don't want it to become a like a Munson.

Since Trent's action on the play resulting in his injury was a slide, then technically the guy was saying "He almost slid into him!" Instead, he should have said: "He almost Robert Geathersed him!" To absolutely make your stance clear to him, you should reply: "Keep that crap up and I'm gonna Bernard Pollard you!"

You should be impressed they know Trent's name
Gosh, it's like Cheers

Yep...I was in a sports bar in San Diego and some punk-ass wearing a Merriman jersey shouted "LIGHTS OUT" over and over when they showed the replay of Trent's injury...

It's disrespectful as a human being to relish in someone's (possibly career ending) injury. So I replied with a few "keep quiet or I'll Robert Geathers you..."

SHouldnt be surprised though....dirtbag Charger fans.

Big enough....but liquid courage was flowing.....and since no one came to the defense of Trent last week....I felt it was my duty!
