What a difference coaching can make
 

Seriously, i've heard many people parrot the old adage about how "coaches don't make tackles, coaches don't win games ... players do"

you only have to look at the chiefs to see that isn't true in the current NFL.


Sure the Chiefs have had some big player changes like Roaf and Law and some minor ones like Welbourne and Sims not starting.


but in reality, the biggest changes for the Chiefs this season have come from the coaching. All new defensive positional coaches ... new offensive coordinator and the biggest a new head coach.


The result is an almost complete reversal between the offensive and defensive performance in a single off season.
