Survival football: Should I pick 49ers over Raiders?

Take New England this week.

It wouldn't seem wise to have your survival resting on either of those teams unless you truly had no other choice. You can't ever predict with absolute certainty the outcome of any game, but who knows what could happen with those two teams.

I wouldn't do it unless I had to, but the 49ers will win. Oakland is that bad.

Yeah, go with New England. That's who I picked. They will romp.

I would never pick the Faders to be good at anything but penalties and felony convictions.

I think it depends on what kind of survival league you're in,personally I took the 49er's because I'm in a crazy contest that doesn't stop after the regular season and advances into the playoffs if more than 1 person is left.

NE is more likely to win Harrington might start too.

I couldn't get myself to take NE over Miami. In 2004, I was in a survivor league and was kicking some butt. It was week 15, 12-1 NE was heading into a 2-11 Miami, no brainer, right?.........WRONG :banghead:
I'll never forget that one, the pot was around $6,000. I don't remember how many were left, but it wasn't many. In fact, I think the league ended that week. I'm pretty sure everyone left, but one person, took NE. In this league, you take a team more than once. I'm taking Indy this week, for the third time this year. GO INDY!!!

you gotta pick each team at least once ....... this is the week for the 9ers if you gotta pick them.

If you have to pick the niners, this might be their week.

Keep in mind that Norv Turner crossed the bay and is now OC in San Fran and wants nothing more than to give a good old fashioned offensive ass kicking to his former employer.

Personally,I think Antonio Bryant blows up today as he and Norv show Randy(I'm just enjoying life)Moss how a real pro goes about their business.
