Before he got hurt he was stuffing the run and getting in the backfield. There were a couple plays where I thought no one even blocked him. He has show more than one move. He totally blew up a the tackle on one play for a loss. Too bad he got injured. The dude has movies (which i didn't think he had) he also has the hustle. I am eating crow and was dead wrong about him. I didn't see any love for him on for his own thread but I thought his preformance against the run alone warrented a thread. I want a gif of him using a swim move to engulf the rams rb

I agree that Hali has been a pleasant surprise and an integral part of this defense so far in the first half. He is expected to play against Miami, by the way.

I bet he has scarface, but he has other movies which i didn't think he had like the lost boys.

One thing went right for me this week though. Kentucky fried chicken finally listened to my comments on their 1-800 lines and put nacho cheese on a fried chicken sandwhich. Hali yeah! Between Hali and Allen we have a great pair of defensive bookends. If Hali plays against Miami, Joey Heatherton will not have a good day. He and Allen will make a tasty little sandwich out of him. I really thought both those guys had more sacks then the stats show but it don't matter because they are wreaking havoc in the backfield and you gotta love that.

We are set at both DE positions for the next 10 years. I just love saying that, i dont think we have ever had 2 potential pro-bowlers at that spot at the same time.

Uh, do you remember Neil Smith and Derrick Thomas???? I know Thomas was an OLB in a 3-4 scheme, but he ussually lined up and played pass and run as a DE in a 4-3 scheme.

That was an awesome line: Smith, Saleamua, Phillips, Thomas...oh yeah when they really became good it was Smith, Saleamua, Maas, Thomas.
