Soren Petro interview with King Carl
 

From an interview at about 11:30 am today. I didn't get to hear the whole thing, but here are a few bits I remember:

Soren: What was more difficult, the Green/Huard decision or the Grbac/Gannon decision?

Carl: Grbac/Gannon. Grbac didn't command the respect of the team like Green does. I have the utmost respect for Rich. In fact, I only have two QB pics on my desk here at the stadium - Joe Montana and Rich Gannon.

Soren: Would you sign Randy Moss?

Carl: Absolutely, unequivocally, NO!

Soren: Will Tony Gonzalez be a Chief in '07?

Carl: Absolutely!

Soren: LJ said he's not into this Raider rivalry. He said it's just another game.

Carl: LJ tells you how he feels. The young players haven't seen a good Raider team since they've been here. Denver is the team that has had the most success in the past few years.

Raider week seem so have lost its schmizzle.

It's hard to get any joy out of seeing someone beat up the "slow" kid in class.

The Raiders have sucked for about 5 years now but the games are usually close anyway.

I love how the organization keeps throwing Grbac under the bus, then backing it up and running over him again, then pissing on his corpse, then letting rats feed on his entrails.

Good.

Until the Faiders are NOT getting owned by the rest of the AFCW the game is good for Just a AFCW win.

So let's kick the dog when it's down....

I wonder what Grbac could have done in Saunder's offense(I would no doubt about it rather have Green). Instead of gone on to that QB killer in Baltimore. There are worse starting QBs in the league right now than Elvis

They could at least have the decency to throw that idiot kicker whos name we don't mention here under the bus from time to time

And the Faiders will have one of them on display at Arrowhead this weekend.

Didn't Carl offer Grbac more money than Baltimore even considered, but Grbac couldn't handle the pressure of playing in KC? Had Grbac signed Carl's offer, we'd have been stuck with him and a huge contract.

We are pretty brutal on QB's here. Trent's the first one that has played for more than a year or two (Montana) that the fans have embraced since Lenny the cool.

Kill the Faders!!!!-my hate has not waned.

Eh, it's nothing he doesn't have coming. With his attitude and the way he left, he deserves every bit of it. Besides, what did Carl say that most of us wouldn't agree with?

I don't care anymore. Just as long as Ty and Patrick can tell Randy Moss "thanks for letting us spank that ass dog." I'll be happy.
