The OFFICIAL LT>LJ THREAD
As a public service to some of you ignorant Chiefs fans I have decided to update you weekly with the greatness that is LaDanian Tomlinson.
LaDanian Tomlinson is only half a year older than Larry Johnson but while Larry Johnson was whining and pouting because his white Super Bowl winning coach couldnt couldnt relate to him LT was busy putting up awesome years behind a weak Chargers offensive line. LT is, was, and will always be a better RB than LJ Tomlinson +--------------------------+-------------------------+ | Rushing | Receiving | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ | Year TM | G | Att Yards Y/A TD | Rec Yards Y/R TD | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ | 2001 sdg | 16 | 339 1236 3.6 10 | 59 367 6.2 0 | | 2002 sdg | 16 | 372 1683 4.5 14 | 79 489 6.2 1 | | 2003 sdg | 16 | 313 1645 5.3 13 | 100 725 7.2 4 | | 2004 sdg | 15 | 339 1335 3.9 17 | 53 441 8.3 1 | | 2005 sdg | 16 | 339 1462 4.3 18 | 51 370 7.3 2 | | 2006 sdg | 11 | 258 1324 5.1 23 | 51 470 9.2 3 | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ | TOTAL | 91 | 1960 8507 4.4 95 | 393 2862 7.3 11 | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ Seasons among the league's top 10 Rushes: 2001-3, 2002-2, 2004-6, 2005-5, 2006-3 Rushing yards: 2001-9, 2002-2, 2003-3, 2004-7, 2005-6, 2006-1 Rushing TDs: 2001-4t, 2002-5, 2003-6, 2004-1, 2005-3, 2006-1 Receptions: 2003-4 Yards from scrimmage: 2001-9, 2002-3, 2003-1, 2004-5t, 2005-5, 2006-1 Rush/Receive TDs: 2001-10t, 2002-6, 2003-3t, 2004-2, 2005-3, 2006-1 Among the league's all-time top 50 Rushes: 28 Rushing yards: 24 Rushing TDs: 8 Yards from scrimmage: 43 Rush/Receive TDs: 13 Larry Johnson (AKA DiaperBoy) +--------------------------+-------------------------+ | Rushing | Receiving | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ | Year TM | G | Att Yards Y/A TD | Rec Yards Y/R TD | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ | 2003 kan | 6 | 20 85 4.2 1 | 1 2 2.0 0 | | 2004 kan | 10 | 120 581 4.8 9 | 22 278 12.6 2 | | 2005 kan | 16 | 336 1750 5.2 20 | 33 343 10.4 1 | | 2006 kan | 11 | 310 1312 4.2 13 | 32 375 11.7 2 | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ | TOTAL | 44 | 786 3728 4.7 43 | 88 998 11.3 5 | +----------+-----+--------------------------+-------------------------+ Seasons among the league's top 10 Rushes: 2005-7, 2006-1 Rushing yards: 2005-3, 2006-2 Rushing TDs: 2005-2, 2006-2 Yards from scrimmage: 2005-2, 2006-2 Rush/Receive TDs: 2005-2, 2006-2 Larry Johnson is not in the all-time top 50 in any major category. |

LaDainian Tomlinson
Running Back San Diego Chargers Profile 2006 SEASON STATISTICS Rush Yds TD Rec Yds TD 229 1146 21 48 456 3 There aren't enough superlatives to describe Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson's performance this season. One of the best players in the NFL, a top-three player in fantasy entering the season and a 27-year-old in his prime, Tomlinson is in the midst of arguably the best campaign in NFL -- and fantasy -- history. Take a look at his accomplishments: • Most touchdowns in Chargers history: 84, a mark he achieved with his first touchdown in the Week 6 game at San Francisco. Tomlinson added three more scores on the day, passing Lance Alworth as the franchise's all-time leader. • Became the second player in NFL history to rush for 150-plus yards and score three-plus TDs in consecutive games when he managed 183 yards and three TDs in Week 8 and 172 yards and three TDs in Week 9. (Delvin Williams also did it in 1976.) • Most touchdowns in a five-game span: 15, Weeks 6-10. Tomlinson snapped Jim Brown's 48-year-old record of 14, and then, he outdid himself, breaking his own record with 16 in a five-game span from Weeks 8-12. By the way, another four-TD effort from Tomlinson in Week 13 would break the record yet again. • Most touchdowns in his first nine games of the season: 18, reached in Week 10. He broke the record shared by Jim Brown (1958) and Shaun Alexander (2005). • Quickest to record 100 career touchdowns: 89 games. Tomlinson achieved the feat with his third score of the game in Week 11, reaching the mark in four fewer games than it took either Jim Brown or Emmitt Smith (93 games each). • Set records in Week 11 with his third four-TD effort of the season and 19 in a six-game stretch from Weeks 6-11. It was his second straight four-TD performance. • Reached the 1,000-yard rushing plateau in Week 11 at the Broncos, marking the sixth consecutive season he has done that from the start of his career. • Set a new career best with his fifth consecutive 100-yard rushing game, in Week 12 against the Raiders. He has topped the century mark each week from Weeks 8-12. • Most rushing touchdowns in a single season in Chargers history: 20, which he reached in the second quarter of the Week 12 game. He'd add another in the contest. He also set a new franchise mark in the game with 138th point of the season. What's more, with five games to go, Tomlinson stands an excellent chance at breaking the single-season record for touchdowns, 28, set by Alexander last season. He's only four short, meaning he'd need to average only one score per week to break Alexander's mark. |
Great, another LT homo fan boy.
|
Don't forget LT has the most homo fan boys posting his stats-just slightly above Peyton Mangina.
|
LTforMVP is still pissed his mom won't wash his LT jersey cause of the sticky substance on it.
|
I laugh because you PLAINLY admitted LJ beat LT HANDS DOWN Last year in every important stat. Either way, it is just flamebait.
|
ltmvp, i would just LOVE to justify your budding homerality with a long, scathing and stat laden post...but its not worth my time...... %(/
|
Oh Boy.
Who let the gimp out of the box? |
Thats nice comparing stats for a career when LJ has been in the league not as long or been a starter his whole career like LT. LT is the best all-round back in the NFL with LJ being the best running back.

Local Gimps..don't go trolling.
Stretch your hammies, doltard. This explains all you need to know about Boltfan. http://forum.signonsandiego.com/uplo...ad.php?t=66917 |
