Just an FYI, in case anyone bought the big 14-disk edition...

I picked up the Donner Cut of Superman II last week. That was awesome. And since I already owned the original '78 Superman, I now own the only two worth buying.
III, IV and the new one all suck. |

Mine should be arriving today, then I can call the number for my replacement disks. I suppose they expect you to send back the ones that were missing content at your own expense though right?

EDIT: No, you don't have to send the defective ones back at your expense. They'll send an envelope, you put the bad disks in it and send it back to them. Once they receive the envelope they'll send the replacement disks. |

Well, finished the Donner cut and found it to be much better than the original cut. There were some interesting twists and maybe a plot hole but overall I liked it very much. Makes for a little bit darker movie too. Took some of the corniness out of the original and gave Superman a more selfish side.

My copy of Rush Replay X3 has been a great investment as well.

Of course there were dumb parts and plot holes, but this was a vast improvement over the Lester version. |
