We are MARSHALL!!

Anyone going to check this one out?

It looks pretty good. Id like to know the true story though.....ill have to read up on it.

Nieghbors went the other night and said it was an awesome movie...

I usually wait until it comes out on payper view. It is whack to drop $50 at the movie theather for a family of 4 for one movie.

Nah, honestly this movie looks like crap, and the critics have been very unkind.

Saulbadguy 12-21-2006 07:57 PM

I'm gonna see it this weekend I think.

I went to Huntington last year for the Marshall vs KSU game and everyone there was beyond awesome, I owe it to them to go watch this movie.

When will wichita state get a dang movie.

siberian khatru 12-21-2006 08:29 PM

I wanna see it.

1) The Marshall story has always fascinated me.

2) Jack Lengyel was the AD when I was at MU.

I think you have to be on TV first.

I remember Wichita State's plane crash but not Marshall's.

I went to see this movie yesterday, and it is one of the best sports movies that I have ever seen.

McConneghey was great as this coach, had funny mannerisms and really made you believe he was a coach.

The story was quite touching to see them rebuild from the tragedy and then become triumphant in their first game at home... great movie. I highly recommend it.

Take your young athlete to see it, as it will have a profound effect on them in a positive way.

If the critics hate it I'm definitely going. Through the years it's pretty much a given that I feel the exact opposite about any given movie that they do.
