This thing Herm said, says it ALL about how he thinks/runs a game.
I can't remember whether he said this on the radio last night, or in the post-game. When talking about how there were so many three-and-outs and how they "couldn't get into a rythm" at Indy....
he said something like... We had very many negative or zero yards on first down. And that's very hard to make up. Your first run you get zero yards, than you have to make that up with your second run. Then if you don't get those yards, you have to drop back and pass in a third and long, and this team (Colts) can rush the passer very well. That's when you get sacked. Anyone else remember this? There you go. The Herm recipe. He was just frustrated because his first runs weren't netting any yards. "so you gotta make up for it with your second run" Herm, YOUR AND IDIOT :cuss: R.I.P. my homerism 1-06-2007 |
All I heard on the radio was him trying to blame our lack of first downs on FirstDownElvis(stevie). I'm already ready for Herm to move on.

Well, he's got a point.
If First Down Elvis cant get us first downs... what's he good for? |

picks? as in plural? I'm flattered. He asked me where I was.. I told him I was behind the bench ( losing my voice)...he told me he saw me and joked that he should've brought me down... At that point, Arrowman told me he wasn't mad at Herm anymore, just me. |
