Have you guys been here or heard of this?

I wonder if there is beer?

$5.00 all you can play. That is cool.

No beer...it is pretty cool though. $5 all you can play...all kinds of interesting old games...80's movies playing on a few TV screens. A group of us will usually stop in before going to dinner or going out down there.

If I'm not mistaken, that looks to be Gauntlet there on the bottom left. How do they handle the all you can play? The games are all set with unlimited credits or what? That would be pretty fun on a game like Gauntlet, which ate up quarters like nobody's business.

I would like to see games into the 90's as well.

I really enjoyed Outrun, TMNT 2 was a lot of fun too, I remember, NBA Jam...these kinds of things.

A friend of mine knows the owner...

I think the cost is fairly minimal...not a lot of staffing needed. They snall drinks and snacks...I want to say they also do small events in some form. Lots of foot traffic in the area.

Yeah, if they go into the 90s, I'd love to play that Dungeons and Dragons game for hours on end. I could never afford to make it very far in it, but I sure did love shoveling a couple of bucks in. Would be cool to play it through.

I was looking at the High Score Hall of Fame Board...

163,550 for Defender? Back in the day I could rack up over 1,000,000 on that thing.

Gauntlet? Is that the stick figore knight/sword battle game? That was awesome. Had the Asteroids/Battle Zone (tak game) graphics.

And that cartoon Dragon game (Dragon Slayer?) That ws IMPOSSIBLE. I remember it wa theforst video game that cost 50 cents. There was one at the local Chuck E. Cheese and there was one geek dude who could clear it. He would hang out by the game and charge people a buck (plus thay had to put the two quarters in) to finish the game so people could watch the cartoon all the way through. :cuss:

There's a place out here in Fullerton like that called the Regan Years. We used to go there and stop at Taco Bell and get a 44 ounce drink, pour it out and put 3-1/2 beers in there and go in for a couple hours. :toast:

If you are heading west on walnut you take a left where that "minuteman press" place is on the corner...the same street where that millie's cantina place is.
