Price of Wood pellets?
 

Lately there seems to be a shortage of wood pellets in this part of the Country. I was wondering if any of you all burn them and if so, how much are they going for these days.

Last year, they could be bought for about 5 bucks per 50# bag, but this year, no one can get what they need and prices are pushing 8 bucks a bag and many folks have been buying whole corn from me as a substitute.

whole corn is cheaper isnt it..burn it till you puke...

Due to the increase in demand for corn for use in alcohol, stoves, and feed, it has risen 40 dollars per ton in the past 3 months, so it might have been, but isn't anymore.

I'm thinking the price is going to be splinters in your sphincter. :shrug:

Or, cobs up your butt.
