I haven't seen this anywhere, but it makes sense.

Not only does he have the connection with Croyle, but he also was Huard's QB coach in Miami in 2000.

Who knows? Maybe Terry Shea was the offensive equivalent of Peter Guinta. Or maybe he didn't work well with the young guys.

Anybody that makes Croyle more comfortable and helps him improve would be a welcome addition IMO.

Croyle looked extremely anxious holding that clipboard all season. Lou would have been perfect to help Croyle get more comfortable and improve his technique.

Solari is needed more with revamping the O-Line, give him incentive bonus at the end of next season if he can do it.
