Steve Sarkisian turns down Raiders job

USC 32 year old assistant OC turns down Raiders head coaching job.

Holy crap.. who is Uncle Al gonna get now? I mean a young guy like that who is probably itching for a head coaching job turns him down.

I seriously am starting to wonder if anyone in the world wants that job. Al might actually have to take to the sideline himself.

No, that would never work. The NFL would have to install handrails on the sideline for him.

kstater 01-19-2007 06:21 PM

Maybe no one should coach them....Couldnt be much worse than last year

Sure-Oz 01-19-2007 06:22 PM

I just saw it as *breaking news* on sportscenter.

FringeNC 01-19-2007 06:29 PM

Wow. Al Davis must just refuse to give these guys the authority they demand. Isn't the guy tired of losing with joke coaches?

I wouldnt wanna inherit a lousy team playing in the toughest division in football either.

I might get shot for saying this, but if he's hurting real bad, I'LL DO IT!!

I've always said that would be the only thing that would EVER turn my affiliations from KC. I don't care if we have ten 2-14 season in a row, I'll bleed Red and Gold until I die... Or until any NFL team hires me.

Has Syracuse fired GROB yet?

JBucc 01-19-2007 06:46 PM

Why don't they just promote that hippie DC they have? He's the only one in that organization that knows what the **** he's doing.

the Talking Can 01-19-2007 07:00 PM

why would anyone work for him?

he'll fire your ass after one year, and he's senile

WilliamTheIrish 01-19-2007 07:40 PM

But... would you take it if you were already the assistant OC for USC?
