btw - don't use 2 hard drives in your tivo ... all it does is double your chance of complete failure. The drives are married(think raid) if 1 goes they both are worthless.

what do u have standard DSL/cable connection ?

different kinds of Raid +1 is needed for the automatic backup/safety feature.

the other raid(s) are for improved performance
