Who's the best possible pick at #23?

I don't care if it's a reach, just make it feasible.

Dwayne Jarrett

Dwayne Jarrett

I was going to counter with Chris Houston until I reminded myself that he's only 5-9. I don't like short corners. I doubt Revis is available. I wouldn't be opposed to Meachem. What did Jarrett do at his Pro Day?

ChiefsCountry 04-24-2007 07:07 PM

If available Ted Ginn followed by Dwayne Jarrett, Dwayne Bowe, Robert Meachem.

Robert Meachem or Paul Poslusny.

Poszlusny is one of my worst possible picks but hey everyone has their own opinion.

He's a quick as Hell LBer who brings the crushing tackles. This kid is also a FOOTBALL player first. He's got super star in the making potential.

If they want a LB......Jon Beason is much better suited for cover 2.

How will Dwayne Jarret get separation on the next level?

OnTheWarpath15 04-24-2007 10:07 PM

Meacham, Revis, Harrell, Houston, Jarrett.

There's a whole thread about it......go check it out.

I'd go with Robert Meachem if he is still available.

<------Them two guys right there

The likely candidates IMO, in no particular order:

1. Beason. Should be an excellent cover 2 LB. I don't have faith that Harris can stay healthy, plus DE is at the downside of his career. Would probably be a rotational player until Nap gets hurt, DE is moved to the middle and Beason gets the start on the outside.

2. Blalock. 4 year starter. Should be a pro bowl guard. Played RT (which suddenly becomes a position of need) for 2 years and never gave up a sack. No character issues and is extremely smart. Everything you want in a player, except for the fact he is most likely a guard with the possibility of RT.

3. Reggie Nelson. Superb athlete that brings it on Sunday. Lots of reports he will slip to KC. Arguably not a position of need, but IMO it is tough to pass on a player that could be the next Reed.

4. Charles Johsnon, DE. I know 99.9% of people will disagree with me valuing him this high. I just think he is this year's Tamba Hali. Good effort, hard worker, etc. NFL.COM link
