People are going to be upset about his ranking and comments about WR.

Did Gretz come up with this on his own, or is this dictation from Herm Edwards?

I don't like it because there's NO WAY CB is #1.

Well, now that Dante is gone, Aaron Ross looks a lot more likely.

Yep...

I would almost bet on it.

Why?

mage

all of the CB talk and he can return. I think the Gretz article icing on the cake.

htismaqe 04-25-2007 10:42 AM

All of the CB talk could very well be a smokescreen. Furthermore, all the CB talk was going on before we traded Dante, I don't see how the trade improves Ross' stock.

As for Ross returning, I saw him a handful of times and don't remember a single return.

Because it kills two birds with one stone - we get our nickle back and a punt returner that had nearly 12 yards a return in college?

I never saw him return a punt...guess I was oblivious to that.

I'm not a big fan of drafting a NCB/PR in the 1st round. He's a part-time contributor. I want a starting position player.

I just hope the Chiefs draft "the guy" and stop chasing that "guy next to him"....ala Siavii and Sims.

There’s no question they’ve struggled around Arrowhead in the last 20 years in drafting and developing a wide receiver. But the presence of Tony Gonzalez makes wide receiver less of a priority. So does the presence of second-year players Jeff Webb and Chris Hannon. Yes, the Chiefs need help at wide receiver, but they do not have to reach for someone.

No shit, and that's the deepest position for the BPA you dumb motherfucker

Well that makes me feel better. We addressed his #3 in the 2nd round. We took a DE and QB that he didn't even mention. And we didn't address at all his #1.

I don't want you to think I want it to be Ross. I don't. OL, imo, is our greatest need. I want us to trade down and go for the Grubbs, Blaylocks, and Staleys of the world.

Unless Levi Brown is there at 23.....
