Trade Trent somewhere else for a lower pick, just not to Miami. They can't go to bat with Carl and beat the hell out of him like appears is going to happen.

Trent holds the cards because he does not have to renegotiate and no one is going to take him if he won't. He has already agreed with Miami if reports are correct.

He's not insulted because he knows this time of year it's just business.

I agree. If I am Trent Green, I am, all of a sudden, not so excited to play for a team that will not even give up a 4th round pick for me. I would suspect Miami is just trying to play hard ball at the wrong time. They have already proved how stupid they are with this 07 draft.

Why would he care...........the better deal the team he's going to gets the better chance they have to be better.....not everyone gauges their value in what they go for.....

I think he wants to be in Miami regardless and really doesn't care.

I'd call the Lions

Plus he knows he would be extremely over paid to start for the Chiefs next year. He is not exactly waving his hands in the air trying to restructure his contract. He holds the cards and has no reason to be insulted.

Yep Dolphins already picked.

They already have Jon Kitna doing the same thing......and cheaper.

If I was Carl I'd make sure Green doesn't go to the Dolphins now. Take what they can get from anybody.
