Not a good week for doing laundry .........
:cuss: After fighting with the damn dryer for 2 weeks, today the washer craps out on me and starts leaking from down under.
WTF ? I'm pretty laid back and chalk it up as just one of those things, but today, I went off. Kicking, screaming, throwing shit in my way as there was water everywhere. OK, Planeteers appliance men, what do I look for on this one. These last 2 repair bills have cleaned my funds out, I need to repair this one myself if I can. It's a Maytag....... heavy duty model. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: |
Sounds like it's time to start turning clothes inside out.

This ? Bad timing, maybe ? They were both bought at the same time. What causes them to start leaking from inside the unit , none of the hoses or the drain hose was leaking. |
Likely the Seal around tranny.... If you know a fix it man The seals/parts are cheap since it just started leaking.....
Maybe better with labor to replace unit...Welcome to throw away America. |
I'll bet Tommykat can help you fix that.

Water pump ? Any chance it's like a car water pump, starts leaking before it goes out allthe way ?

Sounds like it may be a bad johnson rod.

Maytag has the worst line of appliances on the market.
I'm glad I don't work for that God awful company anymore. Try this site. |
