Another name change
The company I work for was originally called Micro Innovations. Three years ago, we changed the name to Nauvalis due to hospitals/companies still thinking our main focus was microfilming when it wasn't. About a year and a half ago, the owners sold the company, and we became SDS. Just found out today that the holding company that owns us sold us. We are being combined with another company, and, starting in October, I will be working for HealthPort.
How in the world can a company gain any sort of name recognition whenever it keeps changing? |
You should change your name to vulva.
Just kidding. |

I guess we'll still be recognized. When we were bought by Smart Document Solutions, the combined company simply shortened the buyers name to SDS and added Comprehensive Healthcare Solutions as a tagline. Our main registered product is called HealthPort, which is what the new combined company will be called. |

I don't think name recognition is terribly important for the type of specialized services your company provides.
