At the risk of totally hijackign this thread -- how popular is Big Papi outside of Boston? He's probably about the most popular player we have here in Boston, and my sense is he's fairly popular around the country. Thsi is the first national TV ad he's done that I know of, so I'm wondering how much pull he has.

Why do I find it not to be funny ?
