Can you name this man..

I saw him at my kids little league game today, he is a volunteer for the district hosting the State tournament (my kids team was eliminated today) dammit!

Anyway i recognized him and even remembered his name..

I'm curious how long this will take..

I wonder if it's this guy.

If so, he's a cool customer under pressure. To say this when you are trying to bring in a wounded bird with 200+ passengers...

Fitch: I'll tell you what, we'll have a beer when this is all done.
Haynes: Well I don't drink, but I'll sure as hell have one.

and later:

Sioux City Approach: United Two Thirty-Two Heavy, the wind's currently three six zero at one one; three sixty at eleven. You're cleared to land on any runway.
Haynes: [laughter] Roger. [laughter] You want to be particular and make it a runway, huh?

I'm pretty sure that's him.

I just saw a "Seconds From Disaster" about that flight.

Amazing anyone lived through that......
