Sylar is officially Spock
 

Confirmed at ComicCon, Zachary Quinto is indeed Spock in the Star Trek reboot. Leonard Nimoy will reprise the role, as well, as an 'older Spock'.

I'm not sure, Shatner is not currently in the script (which is said to be very good).

I think the premise of this movie is awesome and Zach was the perfect choice. The first time I saw him on screen (several years ago, probably "24"), I thought to myself "Spock!".

Shatner will be in the film as well. I think J.J. Abrams will do the Star Trek name well.

I STILL can't get over the way those douchebags at Paramount killed Kirk. So freakin' lame. I'm glad they've all been fired...

Guess I need to go back and watch 24 Season 3 again. I don't remember him from that.

They need to let Star Trek retire. Come up with new ideas, please.

I am really stoked about the Kirk & Spock early years. Seriously. I heard Matt Damon for Kirk (though he's squashed those rumors) but I can't think of a better actor right now for Kirk.

I'm sure they'll pick the right guy.

I wish I was the casting agent. Outside of Damon, I'd choose Ryan Gosling.

I would say Ben Aflek for his bad acting genius. Too tall though.

They could take a cue from BSG and really fuck with trekkies by making Kirk a black woman.
