Aaron Glenn
I know he's old, but I think he would be a pretty solid nickel for the Chiefs.
He was cut by Dallas today. I think he played for Herm in NY, but I'm not sure. |
Go young, he's done.

Dallas and Houston got rid of him. I'm guessing he'll retire.
He played for Herm 1 year. Then Herm, Bradway & Company exposed him to the expansion draft and Houston snatched him up, IIRC. |
I watched most of dallas's games last year because my friend is a cowboys fan, so I rooted against them. The teams were always picking on glenn, I have no interest in him.

we're packed at corner the way it is

We need youth and speed. Glenn fails twice.

Jaguars sign veteran cornerback Aaron Glenn for secondary depth
Associated Press http://www.nfl.com/news/story?id=090...o&confirm=true JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Veteran cornerback Aaron Glenn signed with Jacksonville on Monday, two days after being cut by Dallas. Glenn gives the Jaguars a fifth cornerback, playing behind starters Rashean Mathis and Brian Williams and possibly competing with Terry Cousin for the nickel role. Jacksonville had planned to keep five cornerbacks, but released second-year player Dee Webb and journeyman Bruce Thornton in final roster cuts. To make room on the roster, the Jags released guard Tutan Reyes. The 35-year-old Glenn, a first-round draft pick by the New York Jets in 1994, has 635 career tackles and 40 interceptions. He spent eight seasons in New York, then played three years in Houston (2002-04) and two in Dallas (2005-06). He made the Pro Bowl in 2000 and 2001. |
Holy cow. I thought he was getting old a half-decade ago when the Jets and Texans made their under-the-table deal to move him in the Texans' expansion draft. I had no idea he was still playing.
