why cut Newby and Stallings?
 

oh what i've heard and seen his preseason they were probably the most proposing young lineman we had on the roster. even during the Rams game last week, they were only 2 guys i even saw drive someone back and make some holes. i dont understand why they were cut...

also, i didnt see Sippio signed to the practice squad and i havent seen him picked up by another team, whats the deal?

Haven't you heard? Herm Edwards goal isn't to win games, it's to have the least possible amount of points scored. If we win 3-0 he's happy, if we lose 3-0 he's happy. I've heard he can't count past 6, so scoring touchdowns are out of the question

Ill never understand why people get so worked up over practice squad players. Most of these guys will never see an NFL field in a real game.

Here's a stat for you. The Chiefs scored the least points out of any other team in the preseason. They scored, count 'em, 32 points in the entire preseason. The next worst pathetic offense scored 44 points.

8 points a game. How about we hire Vermeil back as our offensive coordinator Head Coach, Herm as our defensive coordinator Head Coach and run them like completely different teams. Seperate dressing rooms, two seperate head coaches, practices, and don't even stand on the same area on the sidelines. No communication with defense to offense and vice versa.

Works for me. I dont understand why we had to completely re-do everything when we hired Herm. The offense was fine, and had they kept Saunders and left the offense alone, chances are Roaf wouldn't have retired so soon and we still would have had one of the top offenses, with a middle of the pack defense, which might have finally gotten us to a superbowl..god forbid that happens in KC though

It wasn't fine. Roaf was going to retire regardless. Then Welbourn got suspended. Then Green got hurt. And they lost Richardson.

The Chiefs came out on opening day and tried to run the Al Saunders offense. The results sucked. Say goodbye to Air Vermeil.
