What Herm has accomplished

Year Off. yards per play def. yards per play net
2005 5.8 5.4 +.4
2006 5.1 5.3 -.2
2007 4.6 5.2 -.6

The numbers don't lie. Herm has been a disaster.

2005 - no playoffs
2006 - playoffs!
2007 - playoffs!

Still, he's got a playoff appearance, and we're (mathematically) still in the hunt this year.

Don't get me wrong; I'm a big stat guy and those #s are extremely incriminating. But they don't tell the whole story.

According to my calculations, the trend line indicates that, by the year 2009, the Chiefs will be generating an average of negative 200 yards per game in offense.

This data needs to be titty graphed and sent to Clark Hunt immediately.

I assume these are the defense stats? No way in heck we are scoring 16 pts a game this year.

Your numbers are meaningless. We have shortened the game. It's yard per play that matter, not total yards.

I thought the games were still 60 minutes.

Yea, right and with that you get some curly fries and the ridicule of the nation. What's the point?

greg63 11-12-2007 04:26 PM

Herm came cheap and he's still over paid.

Lol, no those are offensive. If you want, I can post the defensive totals.

Going to the playoffs and losing in the first round seems the equivalent of going to the prom with one's sister.
