When was the last time you felt an earthquake?

I remember back in the late 60s & early 70s we had some small tremors here in Missouri. Just enough to rattle the windows or shake nick nacks on a shelf. Don't recall any since, well maybe from the Kelli - October thread

I've done a hurricane, a tornado and a couple of floods. Never experienced an earthquake that I can remember.

1989 or 1990. I was in a church camp in Marshall, Indiana for the FCA shooting video. Sitting in a cabin on top of a bunk bed. Pictures on the wall started clapping, jumped off the top bunk, ground felt like I was standing on a waterbed.

By the time I figured out what was going on, it was over.

Epicenter was down around Cairo, IL, close to New Madrid Fault.

It shook skyscrapers in Chicago, Memphis and Indianapolis.

Weird...

Think it was the last really big shock east of Mississippi River.

Never. I'm sure I've felt some small tremors but I've never thought "EARTHQUAKE!"

Hmmmmmmm last time I was at Arrowhead and Jason Whitlock got out of his seat.

Many of the lucky ladies with whom I've pleasured have trembled and shaken.

It was probably the fifth or sixth, most coldest day in my entire life... Oh wait, never mind, I have never felt one.

Mr. Laz 11-15-2007 11:12 AM

never

1987 for me. I was a little north of Cincinnati OH on a funeral detail while in the Army. I remember a couple of months before that one while at Ft. Knox KY there was a larger trembler and I thought it was pretty cool at the time, I don't know if all the beer that had been consumed that night made it seem cooler.

Went through a 7.7 (that'sa biggun) in the Philippines in 1990. Over 1800 people killed. Thankfully I was not at the epicenter, and we were not asked to clean up.

1985 Haifa Israel x 2 in one week. It was really weird not having a place to put your feet when you are standing up when the ground was shaking. It lasted about 5 seconds but seems to take forever.

Been in the path of so many hurricanes I've lost count while I was working in the Gulf of Mexico.

Got caught in the middle of a tornado in Springfield Mo.
