i got a sweet deal on the toshiba hd35's from amazon -- i was one of the few that got offered the player for $150 during their black friday weekend specials. it came with bourne identity and 300.

i'd not seen 300... and really... it was just ok. its one i don't mind owning, but i probaly woldn't have bought it.

but seriously... theonly good thing about troy was peter otoole.

Pretty good deal. I had hoped to score something on that, but didn't. I only have blue ray because I own a PS3. I don't watch movies for shit. That said, I found Troy to be a compelling movie. I always liked the story of Troy though. Greek Mythology was probably my favorite subject of history, which was also my favorite subject.

I believe there is a Directors cut of Troy out now thats about 20 minutes longer?

Not sure if its on Blue Ray though?


Anyhow, i liked Troy alot.

I thought the fight scene between Achilles and Hector was very well done.
