I read on CBS.sportsline.com that Mike Peterson, the Mike Peterson led the league in tackles last year.

I also noticed in the LA Times that he was instrumental in lowering the price of energy, discovering new sources of energy...all this without harming the ozone.

He mentioned in passing that once he had taken care of the country's energy crisis, he would use his same prowis in finding Chandra Levy...ALIVE.

Shakes - How can you not know who Mike Peterson is, not only is he a great football player, but is the greatest super hero of all time. Heck, just last week we kept 2 planes full of 100's of people from crashing, saved one island from being destroyed by volcano and then to top it off destroyed a large astroid about the East Coast that surely would have destroyed the world.

2 years ago, some guy came on the kc.com BB talking about how the Chiefs BETTER draft Mike Peterson at #19 (or whatever pick we had) because he was the absolute BEST LB to ever come out of Fla. Then he proceeded to tell us about his superhuman strength and his accomplishments on and OFF the football field. It became a huge joke amongst us.

He was drafted early in the 2nd round by Indy and has shaped into a pretty good LB - undersized, but he has a nose for the ball - kinda like Zach Thomas. Thomas was a 5th round selection if I remember correctly.

Every once in a while, we spoof the guy. It's fun - but sounds pretty stupid if you aren't "in" on the joke.

Us Mike Peterson supporters were right though Kphobia He was an excellent pick.

What ever happened to his presidential bid anyway?
