Will Mrs. Croyle give up the tiara willingly?

Sorry honey, but your interim run as reigning first lady of 1 Arrowhead Drive may be over.

Personally, I think that Carl and Herm are sandbagging on drafting a QB. Just a hunch. It's also quite plausible that they'd go after McNabb. I can hear Carl now:

"Quite frankly, today reminds me of when I brought another HOF QB to Kansas City...a guy you might remember by the name of Joe Montana. And I think we can all agree on the success that he brought to Kansas City. So today I think that the Kansas City fans can be thankful that my genius for all things football has secured the employment of Donovan McNabb, one of the greatest quarterbacks of the modern era. Also, in keeping with our tradition here at Arrowhead, a corresponding price increase will apply for both season tickets and parking. In closing, just let me say that we are all so proud to have the BEST fans in the NFL right here in Kansas City."

The 2008 McNabb would be better than the rubber-armed 1990-ish version of Little Joe with the Chiefs.......I never saw a guy lose yardage thru the air with a forward pass on first-and-goal at the three yard line, until Montana's stint with Kansas City.......

Pennington will be in KC before McNabb. Sad, but true.

Well Joe may have delivered the throw that ended in "the catch" for Dwight Clark and the 49ers, but few plays will ever surpass his winning 4th quarter pass (with 8 seconds to go) to Willie Davis at the old Mile Sty stadium. You could hear the collective gasp of every deflated donk fan in the stadium. Chiefs 31-Donks 28. Still brings a tear to my eye...

Ummm...the reigning 1st lady of 1 Arrowhead Drive is a woman who used to be named Tavia Shackles, who is now Tavia Hunt.

Btw, back in the day, Tavia was every bit as hot as Kelli Croyle. I know, I used to see Tavia in the UMKC gym pretty much every day for a semester. I flirted like crazy with her. (but, she was already dating Clark).

Plus, Tavia is very smart. I know, I talked to her quite a bit. The wife of a QB is simply the SO of an employee that has a big impact on company performance in the short term (from the view of ownership).

In the native venacular: "This post is worthless without pics." :)

We could only be so lucky. I contend that much of the reason so many people tie their hopes to Brodie is solely because of his wife. She causes distraction and blindness to Brodie's lack of anything related to being a starting QB in the NFL (other than, of course, being a starter in the NFL).
