While Ty Lawson back may help; I'm not entirely sold on an absolute victory. But I'd say it should be closer then 12 pts. or whatever their first meeting was.

GO HEELS!!!

Seriously though, I have nothing against Roy Williams. Tyler Hansborough is the only reason why I want Duke to win. :)

He's also allowed to lean into defenders and they get called for the foul.

Play-makers, MAKE PLAYS!

Please believe it!

Duke beat them at Carolina. So, why can't they win at home? IMO - Duke wins.

Simply Red 03-07-2008 10:22 PM

Ty Lawson, Ever heard of him? You know, He's back, The fastest guard in the country. Duke may win, but we'll see if they make it closer then last time. Regardless, we'll see.

You're too kind calling it a lean. A lot of times it's a full on fish-out-of-water flailing of the arms and elbows into the defender that's standing still with his arms straight up.

If college basketball and 'making plays' is about finding cheap ways to get to the foul line, then he's very good. I hear Roy actually came out and defended him by saying Hansbrough is always looking to score first, go to the line second. Bullshit. He sacrifices good shots for his awkward flailing and/or double pump action to get fouls. Making the shot is a nice finish and often times a product of being 2 feet from the basket, not aiming for it.

Tyler Hansbrough is exactly what's wrong with college basketball, and the refs who call that crap aren't any better. It looks absolutely foolish, it slows down the game, and takes away from its integrity. It's like taking a dive, and refs should treat it that way.

What's his 40 time? Can he play CB?

Hansburo is a stud, inside, outisde, toughness. He is the player of the year I think.

It will go to OT. Duke wins.

teedubya 03-08-2008 04:00 PM

I think KU fans really should want UNC to win... if Duke wins, then pretty much KU will get a #2 seed. If UNC wins, this puts Duke at a solid #2.

Also, with UCLA needs to lose to Cal today.
