A Cliche I Hate
I hate any commercial or show or movie that tries to portray the "look at how we're uniting the world" concept by putting two fans of opposing rivals, all decked out in their respective teams colors, and having them slowly look at each other and embrace.
I ****ing tell you what, if any Bronco or Raider fan slowly glanced over to me as soft music played, I might turn back to them slowly just so they'd start to lean in for the hug. Then I'd twist his arm behind his back until I heard an assortment of snaps and throw him down a few rows. And so ends my classy thread of the day. |
