Wink Adams leads the UNLV Runnin' Rebels basketball team and he has had a hell of a tournament culimnating in a 2nd straight Moutain West Conference championship for UNLV by beating the #23 ranked BYU team by 15 points.

I cannot say how much fun it is to have UNLV having a GOOD basketball program again. I remember the 1991 National Championship team and how great as a kid that was to watch. Now getting to see good exciting basketball again in Las Vegas as an adult is just awesome!

Maybe we will get a good enough seed this year to make a return trip to the Sweet 16... however I am not holding my breath as this years team has a total of only 2 seniors where last years team started 5 seniors.

Either way, they have been putting on a hell of a show for the MWC tournament.

Now if only the Chiefs could grace me with a good team again...:shake:
