40's are the next number in line for a tight end to get if the 80's are filled up.

Well, I'm guessing some of the numbers will change but Webb has had 80 for years now. Bowe would probably have to pay for it; or I suppose he could just wait until Webb gets cut in the next few years.

I've been waiting for that too. I hope he does. His tattoo not matching his jersey bugs me for some reason.

Yeah, the FB comment was meant to be silly. Still, it may indicate something about his status if he is the last in line for a number. Then again, it could be that he elected to have a number in the 40s. Or it could mean nothing at all.

I have a Bowe jersey with No. 82, so I'll be rather annoyed if he changes his jersey number. :mad:

As for the others, I'm kicking around getting a Dorsey jersey, but it flies in the face of my wait-until-they've-done-something policy. But this is such a huge signing, I'm considering getting one anyway.

We'll see if D'bowe is supersticous or not. I would think considering how bad our offense was last year and he still managed good #'s on top of his consideration for 'rookie of the year' he would keep "82".
