I been wanting him to start a game or 2 since last year. If Torre thinks he's ready, then i dont see why he couldnt play. He was tearing it up and was by far the Dodgers best pitcher in spring training. He was tearing it up in the minors. Its his time. Even if he loses. Its his first game at 20 years old. He has a mean ass curve ball. Barry Zito type curve and he throws 97 mph.

Better be careful....Pujols destroyed Lidges stuff and ended his career with one swing. What happens if they rock the kid?

Then he gets rocked. They think he's ready. He has to go against someone. If the kid is really a MLB pitcher he can handle it. Personally, i would rather see him against top notch players. This is a good test to see how headstrong he is. If he falls apart and busts a Ryan Leaf, then he's not a good MLB player.

Anyways, for a coach like Torre to call ya up. They must have alot of confidence in the guy.

Kershaw is like Ben MacDonald, Darren Dreifort, and Todd Van Poppell all rolled into one.

Except he's gonna be good.

BTW, Cubs got punked by the Pirates in 14 tonight. St. Louis now tied for 1st with the Mighty Unstoppable Cubs.... Where is SEA_OF_RED? :)
