Nice! We can all thank the Bourne films for the rebirth of the Bond series.

Can't wait for that one.

I knew I'd get that response.

The story sucked. It's just a new Bond so everyone went googoogaga over it.

I also predicted that Craig was going to blow people's minds with his Bond, but everyone said it was a horrible cast. What I ended up seeing was an incredible Bond character with a few good action scenes.

But, mostly, I had 1.5 hours of reeruned let's ride the wave of a current cultural phenomenon: poker. To that mix, let's add 8 bad guys because we don't learn from the comic book movies.

Seriously, the poker scene took up about 1/2 the film and it didn't serve any purpose. None at all. IF you claim it did, I don't think you can deny it could have been cut into 1/4 of what it was and it would have been awesome. Who cares if Bond can play poker? No one.

Having said all that, there were some good action scenes. But even in the worst of action films, you're going to find good scenes.

Well, the book its based on is centered around a Casino. Hence the title: Casino Royale.

Hence, why I thought it was reeruned. Absolutely no point to it.

You are aware that it was the first book and that the poker aspect is nothing new for the Bond character right? In fact it is part of what is "essentially" Bond. Granted, it used to be baccarat, but you change with the times. Secondly, Daniel Craig is way more "Bond" than Brosnan ever was.
