Who's got it? For what system? How do you rate it? What features on it do you like/hate? How does it compare to previous Madden NFL games?

im pissed i like the game but i hate the way they keep leaving LJ's Diamond off the game when he scores

That's like copyrighted or some shit.

Diamond Dallas Page bitched and moaned about LJ making the gesture, but not even he created it.

I can't wait to check out Madden '09 though.
Hopefully we can get a CP review to spare me that 60 beans on the chance that it isn't worth buying.

I JUST bought Madden '08 (Used).
I'm fine with playing that for a while.

Why not just pick up NFL2k5?

Sigh.

I loved the NFL 2K franchise.
It shit all over Madden. The gameplay was much better than what EA was trotting out onto the virtual playing field.

I just played my first Madden 09 game.

ATROCIOUS.

Although Madden hasnt put out a good game in a LONG TIME, I think its crazy to say 2K shit all over Madden. Especially since the 2K series found a way to be even more arcade like than Madden. Everyone raves about the gang tackling and how revolutionary it was, but it HAS to be good to make up for the impossible juke and cut moves you can make JUST using the DPAD.
