Tony Gonzalez for Position Coach after he retires?
What are the odds? I guess broadcasting would be more lucrative for someone of his charisma and intelligence. But dammit, it would be cool if he was a receiving/TE coach after he's done. The man has the best hands, routes and work-ethic in the NFL. He commands respect and relates well to people. He would be an ideal coach, imo.

He would make 10 times as much for 1/50th the work as an analyst.

I think he'll go into media. He likes the attention and he'd be very good at it, in my opinion. At least, you can understand what he's saying unlike some other tight ends who've managed to eke out a career in broadcasting.

The guy lives in Manhattan Beach eight months out of the year and that's where he'll live full-time when he retires. If he does anything football-media related after retiring, it'll be as a host of one of the Sunday morning show. If that. |

Agreed. Superstar players dont become coaches. They dont need to. 2nd tier players usually become coaches: Jason Garrett, Herm Edwards, Schottenheimer, etc.... |
I guarantee this does not happen. I'll find a new team to root for if it does.

Trent Green for QB Coach!!!

PRIEST HOLMES FOR OC!

If any of those guys you mentioned had been playing and starting in today's NFL for 8+ years, none would be in coaching. |
Ryan Sims for D-Line coach. He was amazing that one time.

I see him releasing another vegan cookbook, living in California with his smokin' hot (for now) "wife" and working with kids and probably becoming active with the democratic party...
...but I still love the guy... |
Albert Lewis for DB coach lol
